Church Policy

Smoky Hill United Methodist Church has asked all groups to keep the outside doors locked during their respective meetings. In accordance with this new policy, we will begin locking the front door promptly at 7:00 pm. Since our meeting starts at 6:30 pm, this will still allow latecomers to get into the church and settled before 6:30 pm. Should you not able to get to the church before 7:00 pm, give someone a call so you can get inside the building. In addition, she has also requested that members please “buddy up” while leaving the building. Let’s all take the time to keep our eyes out for each other and follow these new procedures.

Snow Policy - Meeting Cancellations

If we need to cancel per inclement weather, one of the board members will call you as early as possible but phone calls may come as late as 4:30 pm. Please make sure we have the most accurate phone number for you. We will also send out an email to the entire membership and will update our website by 5:00 pm to reflect our snow closure.
