Warm Hearts, Warm Babies

Our current ongoing charity focus is Warm Hearts, Warm Babies. This organization supports the whole front range. They make layette bags filled with a quilt or afghan, receiving blankets, burp rags, outfit, and sleeper. They also donate to preemie babies. Another wonderful thing they do is prepare bereavement packages, making gowns out of used wedding dresses. These are presented to couples who have lost their baby.

A BIG thank you to everyone who has been piecing, quilting, and binding charity quilts. Please contact Cindy S. if you know someone who could benefit from one of our quilts or if you would like to make a quilt.

If you have pieced a top and need a backing and or batting, we may have something that will work. You can use traditional binding, bring the backing to the front or envelope the quilt - whichever method you like, or bring to the next club meeting and the quilt can be passed to someone else to complete the binding. 

We are always looking for donated supplies for the charity quilts we make. If you have batting, fabric squares, or fabric for the back of quilts you would be willing to donate for a charity quilt, please see a board member.
