My library book!
Beyond Confusion is available from Perseverance Press (danielpublishing.com) as usual with my Latouche County mysteries. I decided it was time to show Meg McLean at work--she's head librarian for the regional library, after all--so I turned to the library and behold, there was my plot. Publishers Weekly (www.publishersweekly.com/) gave the book a very friendly review (now a national holiday). Among other nice things, it says: "Simonson's ambitious plot casts a wide net--from treating themes of racism and religious intolerance to thwarted love and good old-fashioned greed--but she pulls it off with a sure hand." My favorite scene in the book is actually a snow-ball fight which LA native Meg watches with amazement.
