I have been working as a Research Assistant and have enrolled as a Ph.D. student at the Department of Computer Science, University of Houston since Fall-2019. My primary research interest is in Cyber Deception, IoT Security, Privacy, Data Science & ML, and Cloud-IoT ecosystem. I started my journey in the research arena in 2016 and have been publishing my ideas and works since then.
Currently, I am researching on Cyber Deception based on SDN and Adversarial Reconnaissance. Now, we are working on modelling attacker behavior inside a compromised network. In another project, I have been working on IoT Remote Attestation where we have built an IoT testbed for researching on software vulnerabilities, exploitation, and attestation techniques such as memory checksum, CFI, etc.
Before joining UH, I worked as a lecturer in the Dept. of CSE, Green University of Bangladesh. I like to collaborate with other researchers and together we have been working on projects and publications. I also like to have hands-on experiences on System Administration that made me take part in RHCSA, RHCE, Openstack, CCNA etc vendor courses, and exams. I intend to gather more knowledge that covers the topics of DevSecOps.

- Our paper entitled "Smart Contract Development from the Perspective of Developers: Topics and Issues Discussed on Social Media" has been accepted in the 4th Workshop on Trusted Smart Contracts, 2019.
- Our paper entitled "Combining Movement Model with Finger-Stroke Level Model Towards Designing a Security Enhancing Mobile Friendly CAPTCHA" has been accepted in the 9th International Conference on Software and Computer Applications (ICSCA 2020).
