12/27/11 - Oh boy, where do I start. Been busy this past month on a few things, and have not been able to put very much into the Grand Prix de France '11 - FunFly/Contest, real life has really gotten in the way a few times also. I just need more big blocks of time to get it finished and done, which I will begin to have again in January. This is not to say it won't get done sooner, but is most likely the case.

Now to rFactor2, within the last week or two, there has been a lot of communication from a person there named Scott Juliano, who seems to be very trustworthy and honest (by the way Mr. Juliano, if you happen to read this, A big THANKS for all the info you have provided and the manner in which you have provided it). Anyway, it would seem rFactor2 beta will be coming out very shortly. You can start downloading some things for it in the rFactor 2 Mod Beta Forum at their site.

If you haven't tried FaceTrackNoIR, it is now at version 1.6 beta. It is a face recognition program that mimics head movement inside a simulator or game. Works great inside FS2004/FSX and rFactor. It really makes things realistic. You can find some settings to the program in a few of my YouTube videos to get you started. And if you are a user of it, there may be something in store that can be done about the steadiness of a view so you can fiddle with switches/knobs inside a virtual cockpit. So that is something very interesting to look forward to in the year to come.

That's all for now.
