The 2024 10k will be measured by an approved AUKCM measurer and a certificate of course accuracy will be obtained.   

A word about personal GPS watches: It is wrong to assume that you can measure a course accurately from space with unknown satellite contact on a course with bends, an underpass, tall trees and buildings nearby and some undulations. The course measurer painstakingly measures, calculates and calibrates everything to ensure accuracy, and after, his calculations are checked by another grade 1 measurer.

The event will be fully permitted and insured as usual. In 2024 we will have a UKA license.
