I am a mechanical engineer (in the stream of power and energy) from my bachelor degree and I was graduated from university of peradeniya sri lanka . Then I my obtained Master degree, Masters of science (Environomical pathways for Sustainable energy systems) (SELECT) - Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden (http://www.kth.se/en/studies/programmes/master/em/select) and granted the InnoEnergy scholarship as well. I was finished my first year at KTH successfully and then move to do my second year specialization in Energy Efficiency (Building sector) at Energy and Nuclear Engineering department, Polytechnic di Torino, Italy. My Master Theses title is development of a program to determine hidden performance parameters of a gas turbine The workes carriedout under the department of energy technology KTH Sweden.

Throughout my career, I am much more interested in practical engineering things. During my bachelor degree I got an opportunity to do my training at Colombo dockyard PCl for six months http://www.cdl.lk/ ( leading ship building company) and during my Master degree I was obtained an internship at Biggest combine cycle power plant (300 MW) in sri lanka and it was operated by leading energy company in sri lanka.http://www.ltl.lk/index.html . During this period I had impressive experience on gas turbines, steam turbine and also about HRSG. There were several maintenance, during the period which I was present there I had a chance to have closer lock on the machines.

During my carrier i was actively participate for mechanical projects. The first picture is related to my final year(BSc) project. The project title is Design and Fabrication of a Power Weeder for Law Land Paddy Fields. The second picture is related to the thired year project(BSc). the project title was Design and Fabricationof Thread Winding Machine for Hand-loom Industry. This project was awarded by M.D.J.F JAYAMANNA AWARD 2009 for Best Undergraduate Project in Mechanical Engineering presented at Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL).
