Instructors

Gary Legacy, Hanshi, 10th Dan, is a pioneer of martial arts in Canada who is recognized internationally. He has trained under a number of teachers, including Benny Allen, Richard Kim, and Anthony Sandoval. Gary Legacy is the head of the Legacy Shorin Ryu Karate Jutsu association based in St. Thomas, Ontario.  

Hanshi Scott Bowron has been training in Shorin-Ryu karate as a student of Hanshi Gary Legacy since 1977, and was graded to 9th Dan (Hanshi) December 2021.

He has taught karate since 1986, teaching classical Okinawa karate and kobudo (weapons) to people of all ages and abilities in that time. Hanshi Bowron continues as a student of Hanshi Legacy bringing world class martial arts to the London community.
