19th century J.A. Henckels Sterling Silver Straight Razor

printed on the shank:

50, (twins logo)

J.A. Henckels

Solingen, Germany

other side:

Kent & Stanley Co.

From what I can find, Kent & Stanley was a manufacturing jewelers which went under in 1897 (source: New York Times).  My guess is that the razor was either made for that company or that Kent & Stanley made the sterling silver scales.  Either way it is most likely that this razor predates 1897 and by the looks of the leather case that seems very likely.
