Gem Safety Razor
This is a beautiful safety razor set made by the Gem Cutlery Co. around the turn of the century. The patent dates printed on the razor are Aug. 28th 1900 and Nov. 5th 1901. The "Z" inscribe on the razor and case is for Mary Zinn, who had some say in the Gem Cutlery Co. around the turn of the century. The set includes the ornate razor head, small and large wood handles, two wedge blades, an auto stopping system, and a honing handle for sharpening the blades.
