おめでとうございます。快適なJALのご旅行をお祈りしております！ (八月にすでにご使用されました。東京から遥かインドネシアの方まで足を延ばされた模様。世界各地で、岩本さんのお話しを心待ちにされている方々が大勢おられます。)岩本さんは来年再度の太平洋横断に果敢に挑戦なさる盲目のセーラーです！motivational speakerとして、最近はたびたび講演のため帰国されています。その時に先生の指鍼術療法セラピーを受けられる方はラッキーですね。

Welcome to the Silent Auction to support our Speech Contest fundraising. 

You'll be notified of the results during the awards ceremony at the contest on March 18, 2018. If you were not at the announcement, you might lose the right to claim to the privilege. （for 2018 auction, we had to extend the deadline, due to lack of entries.）

We've done this last year! The winner of the ticket had the most memorable family trip for a month in Japan! (yes, this ticket is valid for one month, for one year.)

About the silent auction: 

This is a silent auction in which the San Diego Japanese Speech Contest Committee c/o Tachibana Language Center and North Park Lion's Club, the main host and  organizer of the contest and one of the sponsors, kindly offers for the purpose of raising funds for the San Diego Japanese Speech Contest. Item to sell: A round trip ticket (Japan Airlines -JAL) departing from the West Coast of the US bound to all Asian destinations.  One stop over both ways is allowed. There is no upgrading allowed from economy to business class. The bidding starts from $600.  Please make a bidding with some small numbers, in order to avoid multiple competitors of the same amount as expected. The winner is the person who bids at the highest price.  No refunds will  be given once your bid has been accepted for any reason. Routinely, a trip during the summer to Japan will cost over $1500 just for the airfare. Availability depends, so your solid travel plan ready is highly recommended. 

Conditions of this auction ticket:

Ticket expiration date: It’s valid March 19 2018 – March 18, 2019, with the longest validity is 30 days per ticket while in Japan.

Any taxes and fuel surcharges are the bidder’s  responsibility. These will vary depending on the departure date and destination.

Early booking is recommended to avoid peak time of busy seasons. 

Method of payment of this auction ticket: Payment should be made within a week after the event when the certificate will be mailed out to the bidder. Failure to submit payment within one week will disqualify bidder's bid.  

Write a check in the amount of your promised amount, payable to Tachibana Language Center, and mail it to San Diego Japanese Speech Contest Committee ATTN: Tachibana Language Center, P. O. Box 28884, San Diego, CA 92198 within one week after the Contest. Cash is also accepted within one week after the Contest.

The airfare certificate will be transferred to the next bidder on the following conditions:  The booking did not succeed via JAL under certain conditions, or payment was not made within one week. 

Just know the nature and purpose of  this auction offered by SDJSCC, we are not a travel agent. Thank you for your understanding.

サイレントオークションについて 実施の背景：昨年のオークションチケット受賞者はこのチケットを使い記念になる卒業・家族旅行を満喫されました。 お互い大変メリットのある企画でした（これにより賞品のチケットと、この分の費用をカバーすることができました ので、今年も実施させていただきます。何卒よろしくご協力くださいますように。

サンディエゴ日本語スピーチコンテスト委員会は教師も含む一般に向けJALエコノミークラス航空券一枚のサイレントオークション をEメールにより実施いたします。これはコンテスト実施の費用の一助としてファンドレイジングを目的いたします。最高値を付けた方の 発表はコンテスト当日の最後のセレモニーが始まる前におこないます。

出品：

日本航空(JAL)米国西海岸就航地発、日本を含むアジア全就航地行き。往路又は復路にてストップオーバー1 回可能。エコノミークラスからビジスクラスへの変更は不可です。入札スタート価格は航空券 1 枚USD600.00のスタートといたします。最低$1ドルの単位を付けたビットをお願いいたします。（たとえば600ドルビットなら601など）これは低価格のために生じる複数の同額ビットが競い合うのを避けるためです。一番高額の入札額が選ばれます。オークションで選ばれた入札・お支払いの後はリファンドはいたし兼ねます。それ以降は本人の責任においてご自身で処理をお願いいたします。どうか趣旨をご理解の上ぜひ多くの皆様の参加をお願い申し上げます。

航空券の諸条件:

 使用期限 :チケットの使用期限は（2019 年3月18 日まで(3月18日までに旅行終了の事)。往復最長有効期間は30日です。

 税金と燃油サーチャージは自己負担。金額は出発時期, 及び目的地によって変動します。

 使用期間の規制はないが混雑時は予約ができない場合があります。

支払い方法

コンテストで入札順位一位の方の発表をいたします。コンテストオークションの)終了後一週間以内に入札額を納める。

旅行の手配はできる限り早い時期にJAL(尾田さん)に旅行計画をご相談することをお勧めします。JALなどの特殊事情により計画そのものが困難になった場合には同意の上、次点の方に権利を移します。

以下条件を注意深くお読みいただき添付の申込書に記入しておおくりください。記入漏れがあった場合には無効となることもあります。

尚、私たちは旅行業務代理店ではありませんので、皆様の旅行計画に関しては自己責任においてお楽しみください。どうしてもお困りの際にはお手伝いさせていただきます。
