C. NSU Prize2015
My study-abroad experience at Niigata Seiryou University was such a life changing event. I sincerely thank the university staff, the Japanese students and my wonderful host families for making this possible and welcoming me with open arms. I definitely will cherish the memories and friendships made during my stay. I would also like to thank Kimura Sensei for providing an enjoyable schedule for my time in Japan. Throughout my visit I learned more about Japanese culture and lifestyle. I am so grateful to have had this opportunity through the sponsorship of the Japanese Speech Contest.
I now feel that Niigata is my second home. I have made many friends and I am so glad that we are able to keep in touch through Facebook and LINE. I cannot put everything into words about my fantastic experience. I truly hope that in the future Japan can create the "dokodemo" door, so that we can all be connected by one open door.
Last but not least, I would like to thank the San Diego Japanese Speech Contest Committee and Tachibana sensei for giving me the chance of lifetime.
