Facebook Chat Room for Contestants:

We created a chat room for those who are interested in competing at the speech contest.

It's open to everyone if you qualify to compete. The qualifications are:

You are a resident of San Diego.

You go to a local school.

You are interested in competing at our speech contest.

If you qualify come and join us us at the chat room.

FumikoTachibana will invite you to the room.

Deadline: Applications are due 2/29/2016 (Monday).

Preparation and Procedure:

1. Read the contest guidelines carefully. ✔ https://sites.google.com/site/sdjsc2015/3-rules-and-judging-criteria

2. Copy the following application form (below) in the email body and fill it out. ✔

3. Take a snap shot of your handwritten draft written in Japanese , it does not have to be a final draft,

It will NOT be used for judging but used for application selection. Please attach it in the email.

Do not send a typed draft in Japanese nor a draft written in English! ✔

4. Send Step 2 & Step 3 to sdjsc2016@gmail.com ✔ (the email address changes every year!)

5. Applications will be accepted in the order of application which follows the above instructions. Again the deadline is 2/29/2016.

All applications and inquiries about the 2016 contest must be sent to sdjsc2016@gmail.com.

Applications are accepted by email ONLY in the order of applicants which followed the instructions and procedure.
