St. Charles Public Library is proud to support the creative works of local residents. As part of the Library collection, your friends and neighbors can check out your work!

Works included in the collection must meet the Library’s selection criteria and standards as detailed in the Library's Collection Management Policy. Given the constraints of shelf space and budget, consideration is prioritized for those who reside within the St. Charles Public Library District.

Books

To submit a request to have your book considered for inclusion in the Library collection, fill out a Request for Consideration form.

To include your profile on our Local Author webpage, fill out the Local Author Webpage Form. Please allow two to three weeks for a reply.

eBooks & Downloadable Items

For writers living in the St. Charles Public Library District, we have developed a new opportunity to create and publish eBooks and make them available for other cardholders to read. To learn more, visit the Indie Author Project and Pressbooks (via Inkie).
