This is a weekend winter adventure at Heritage Reservation. This event is operated by the BSA Laurel Highlands Council and is for registered scouts and their parents only.

Limits: This is a first come first served signup. We will registers as soon as possible starting with those that have indicated their plans to attend. Typically we hit a maximum of 60 attendees, but that depends on other pack registrations for the weekend we are choosing.

Pack 994's winter camping trip will be held at the BSA Laurel Highlands Council, Heritage Reservation in Farmington Pennsylvania. All scouts attending this trip will have the opportunity to participate in multiple out door activities including cross country skiing, show shoeing, sledding and broom ball.
Please be advised that average temperatures in this area are typical in the low 30s during the day.
Cub Scout rules require each child to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Leaders and Scouts make sure you pack you Class A uniform for the evening activities, it is required!
All participants must complete a BSA Health and Medical form as well as a camp supplemental Medical form to turn in upon arrival.
If you or your scout have any dietary restrictions, it must be provided one week before the camping begins.
This is a tremendous opportunity for you and your child(ren) to enjoy a fun-filled weekend in the great outdoors when nature provides the beauty of winter. You will stay in our Potomac Homes overlooking Lake Courage. Cafeteria style meals are provided in our dining area at Pathfinder Lodge. Come with your personal gear and enjoy winter with its exciting program features. Choose from several weekends - each of which is open to any Scout!
The weekend will include cross-country skiing, sledding, Klondike games, broomball, and snow tubing. The camp will provide the equipment. The camp has snow shoes, cross country skis, and sleds. However, please bring any equipment that you may have (no hockey sticks please). Moms enjoy this activity just as much as dads. If there is no snow on the ground, the program will consist of parent/son log sawing, three-man slingshot, frisbee golf, BBs, archery, and hiking or just enjoying a weekend with your son.
The Winter Weekends will begin with check in at 6 p.m. on Friday. Participants will receive a snack at 9 p.m. that evening. Please avoid arriving after 10 p.m. Sessions will conclude on Sunday by 10 a.m..
You will need to bring your own linens and personal items. We suggest that you bring the basic necessities; sweaters, warm jackets, flashlight, extra clothes, boots, etc. Dress for the weather. Clothing must haves include : Waterproof boots, insulated hat, waterproof gloves, moisture wicking base layer (not cotton), multiple pairs of warm socks, snow pants and waterproof coat. Don't forget chap-stick and hand warmers
