• Each scout works with a family member to build and race gravity powered cars down a regulation track.

• Siblings and Parents are welcome to race but they must build their own cars.

  • Description: Technical Inspection: This is an early chance to weigh your car and make final adjustments before the race. Track will be setup and every scout will have the opportunity to run their car on the track.

Official Rules:

• Cars must be made from the official BSA Pine Wood Derby kits.

• Only wheels and axles supplied in the kits will be allowed.

• The car cannot weigh more than 5 oz.

• The wheel base cannot be altered.

• Cars must fit in a box 2 ¾” wide by 7 ¼” long and be no more than 4 ½” tall.
