SciWrite Tip of a day: The following criteria may be useful when selecting a target journal (media outlet) for your paper:
Weight of your paper – for low-weight papers, select journals with lower impact factors
Acceptance ratio/Rejection ratio
Review times (duration between submission and first-round review)
Reliable editorial communications
Acceptance constraints with your institution
Below are the tools that may be helpful to retrieve potential journals for your research:
https://journalfinder.elsevier.com/ (Elsevier Journals)
https://journalsuggester.springer.com/ (Springer Journals)
https://journalfinder.wiley.com/search?type=match (Wiley Journals)
http://publication-recommender.ieee.org/home (IEEE Journals)
https://www.journalguide.com/journals/search and https://www.journalguide.com/
At all costs, avoid journals listed in the Bell’s list (http://researchtoolsbox.blogspot.com/2019/01/bealls-list-of-predatory-journals-and.html), and be cautions of the Open Access journals.
This is very useful and the last sentence is even key... avoid any journal listed in Bell's list please. But, also avoid any journal requesting you to pay to publish your article ..if that journal is not in the giant databases such as elseiver ...emerald ..IEEE..ACM.. Wiley ...etc
