Summer School 2014 -Proptastic
If you are looking to add something a little different to your bellydance repertoire, or simply wanting to keep up your dance classes over the summer break, I am offering a packed schedule for summer 2014 in Glastonbury.
Whether you are a regular student of mine, or just wish to join me for a short while, I aim to give you a rare opportunity to sample a wide variety of props, and help you find something new that you really love.
Summer 2014 is themed "Proptastic" and I will be offering 6 90 minute sessions based around prop use in Bellydance.
July 8th, 15th and 22nd will be veil based, incorporating
Veil entrances
Fancy tricks and turns
Veil fans
Double veil technique
August 5th, 12th, and 19th will be a mixture of other less common props including:
Fans
Palm candles/lights
Poi
Balance props (sword and tray)
Pre-requisites
There are no hard prerequisites for enrolling on this course, however it would be beneficial to be familiar basic bellydance moves at beginner or improver level. It is possible for students to enroll on the Fundamentals course alongside Proptastic, to learn (or recap) the basics as they go.
