Lisa graduated from the University of Guelph in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science Honours Zoology. She completed her Bachelor of Education at Nipissing University in 2007.

Lisa is currently employed as an Academic Upgrading teacher in science at Sault College. Lisa has worked as a tutor ever since graduating from Guelph, first with The Tutoring Agency under Linda Symbaluck, then after Nipissing at Scholars Education Centre. Now she is the driving force behind reopening The Tutoring Agency for herself.
