Our research proposal received funding of about Rs. 50 Lakhs (for March 2024 onwards) from the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India. We thank SERB for this financial support. (P.I.: Prof. Santosh S. Hosmani and Co-P.I.: Dr. Indrasen Singh)
In 2024, our group's papers have been published in the (i) Materials Characterization, (ii) Materials Science and Technology, and (iii) Materials Today Communications journals. Our group members also contributed to the research by Prof. Rupesh Devan's group, which was published in Electrochimica Acta in 2024.
Vikesh Kumar successfully defended his PhD thesis on July 09, 2024, and the PhD degree was awarded in the 12th Convocation of IIT Indore held on July 13, 2024. Many Congratulations!

Manoj Joshi successfully defended his PhD thesis on March 01, 2023, and the PhD degree was awarded in the 11th Convocation of IIT Indore held on July 15, 2023. Many Congratulations!
In 2023, our group's two papers were published in Advanced Engineering Materials, one paper in Philosophical Magazine (which is one of the reputed journals in Metallurgy), and one in the Journal of Materials Engineering and Performance (JMEP).
PhD student Nilesh Kumbhar got a Research Internship at NIMS, Japan, for three months (2023).
A paper published by Aditya Litoria et al. in Philosophical Magazine (Vol. 100, No. 3, 2020) was cited 40 times within three years, i.e., till November 2023 (Ref.: Google Scholar).
