This is a wonderful site for learning all kinds of information.

When you first access it, 5 icons will appear. Kids is the basic one for our age group and Student is more advanced. Early Learning is suitable for grades PreK-1.

Explore and enjoy! There are lots of fun games and activities to try.

Wonderful for connecting to distance learning sites in all subject areas

It is very comprehensive and user friendly with screen shots of the sites to click on - six main categories, lots of fun stuff and virtual tours

Mo Willems is a favorite author for young children. He made 15 doodling episodes at the start of the school closings. Here is the link to that YouTube channel. He is the author/illustrator of the Pigeon books, Elephant and Piggie books and the Knuffle Bunny books. His newest series is called Unlimited Squirrels.

Draw Every Day with JJK - similar to the Mo Willems channel, but for older kids.

Jarrett Krosoczka is the author/illustrator of the Jedi Academy series and the Lunch Lady series. He has over 50 drawing videos and several book talks.

Lots of fun videos! Learn how to draw your favorite characters, sneak peek to the newest Dog Man book, listen to Dav Pilkey reading parts of his books and hear his special talks to kids.

Jason Reynolds is the author of the Track series (Ghost, Patina, Sunny, Lu). He was also selected as the National Ambassador for Young People's Literature. Normally people with that award would be touring the country and visiting schools. Since he is not able to do that, he has created some fun videos. He doesn't seem like your typical author - he is a cool speaker and will give you creative ideas to inspire writing. He does a bi-weekley video called "Write, Right, Rite". Scroll down to the bottom for the first episode. Intended for grades 4-8.

Aiden Tyler, Quaran-TEEN Rex Ogle was writing and reading his novel about the coronavirus epidemic in real time from March-June 2020. The podcasts for those weekly sessions are still available and you can download all 20 chapters. Book is intended for grades 4-8.

There are lots of websites, Instagram and YouTube channels where people are reading picture books. Since we can't have story time in the library, listen to a new online story each day! I love this site because famous actors are reading with a lot of expression... and most of the books are testable.

This site also does a nice job on the videos with the book taking up the whole screen, so it is easy to see. This link is for the Read Out Loud page, but there are several other tabs to explore with drawing, crafts and other activities.

Videos of picture books being read aloud, this site has more than the other two above and most are testable.

There are lots of Pete the Cat, Bernstein Bears, Mercy Watson, Fancy Nancy, Nate the Great, and Dr. Seuss, but also many others.
