The Disc NW HS Mixed season runs from November - April. Game schedules are posted on DiscNW and TeamSnap
Communications: This season we will be using TeamSnap for scheduling and communications. If you have not already, please create an account for your player on www.teamsnap.com. There is also an app, if you'd like ultimate info at your fingertips. You will receive a teamsnap invite to team communications once your player is assigned to a team.
Sign-up on DiscNW PRIOR to tryouts: Click here to sign the DiscNW waivers and register for the Roosevelt JV team. (After tryouts, DiscNW will move your player to the appropriate team.) Choose 'pay by check' for now. If your player is offered a spot, you can go back in and choose your preferred payment method.
Mixed Season Tryouts/Practice: All players must be registered on DiscNW to participate. Field space is limited so practice will be a little irregular in late Nov.
Nov 18 (Mon) and Nov 21 (Thurs) -- Tryouts-- 2 days. 7pm-9pm at Roosevelt Highschool. Due to the level of interest we've seen this fall, unfortunately, we do foresee that cuts may need to be made. Mixed season has fewer spots available per gender. We will have two teams (50-55 players).
Nov 25(Mon) and Nov 27 (Wed) - Teams will be formed and practice will begin the short week of Thanksgiving.7pm-9pm at Roosevelt Highschool.
Regular Season Practices: Beginning December 2nd, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays will be our regular practice days. Practice will be held consistently at Roosevelt Field from 7pm to 9pm. See TeamSnap for the schedule.
Games: begin the week of December 7th. (Usually on Saturdays)
Winter Co-Ed Jerseys: We have new jersey kits this year. The Boys' teams used them in the fall. Complete kits are $110 and are optional. Returning Girls may just want the light jersey at $49. If you want a customized jersey, orders should be made ASAP with this breakmark link. Parents are welcome to order some spirit gear for the sidelines. Jersey orders will CLOSE on Nov 22. We would love a volunteer to coordinate distribution among Gx players.
Finals: The Final game for the mixed season will (unfortunately) likely take place the first Saturday of mid-winter break. Plan accordingly if possible.
Spring Reign Tournament: Last year, in April, both teams competed in Spring Reign in Burlington, WA. We hope to be invited back again this year! We will need a volunteer to take the lead on coordinating the tournament logistics.
Cost: The cost for the winter season is TBD and is based on roster size and number of coaches. It will be around $300 (not including a jersey). Please reach out if the cost will be prohibitive for your player, there is help!
Thank you everyone! Go Riders!!
