Spring Season

SCHEDULE (tentative)

Dates The season runs from March-May. Exact schedule will be posted soon. See Disc NW for more information. 

Practices will be 3x a week, Mon, Tues and Thurs from roughly 4:15 - 6:15 pm at Magnuson Sports Meadow.  

Tryouts 3/4, 3/5 and 3/7 from 4:14 to 6:15 at Magnuson sports meadow  

Games are every Friday, starting 3-17 with times and fields to be announced by DiscNW.      

Registration

1. Go to https://www.discnw.org/e/2024-spring-hs-bx-club-team-and-free-agent-league/register

2.  Login or create an account

3. Register your player for the 2024 Spring HS Bx Club and Free Agent League.  Choose RHS JV as your team.  NOTE: After tryouts, we will place players on their respective teams Varsity or JV.

4. Complete all waivers

5. Check out and do not pay yet.  Wait until you are placed on a team and pay your sliding scale fee to DiscNW. 

Please register asap so we have an idea of numbers.  Spring season tends to be smaller than Fall and we hope we have enough players for 2 teams.  We are finalizing coaches and need this info to gauge how many coaches are needed.  

Program FEES 

You will be asked to pay the sliding scale DiscNW fee and a team fee  (approx $150) upon placement on a team.  At this time, no fees are due.

JERSEYS

We have green/white jersey sets available for purchase for $70/set. Please let us know if you need a jersey.   

PARENT VOLUNTEERING

As always, it takes many parent volunteers to run this program.  Please consider joining the committee and volunteering. We need parents to get involved and help organize for the fall season, now is a good time to learn the ropes!

Notes: 

Ultimate is a club sport and does not fall under the WA Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA). Students are not required to complete the SPS Athletic Packet or have a current physical. However, we do encourage all students who participate in ultimate to have a current physical covering the duration of the student athletes participation (good for two years). This also means SPS does not provide transportation, players/parents are responsible for transportation to/from games.*

**For non-Roosevelt High School students, who live in the reference area interested in participating in ultimate, please complete the DiscNW Free Agent Form.
