Living in a Condo is just like living in any other close community: consideration and mutual respect are important to ensure everyone’s enjoyment. The following are some of the issues which residents have expressed as concerns in the past:
PETS
Please remember that you are responsible for picking up after your pet at all times, and your pet must also be leashed at all times while in the common areas. This includes the dry pond and all other public areas within the community.
NOISE
Please treat your neighbors with courtesy and respect. Be mindful of other residents when undertaking activities which may cause noise (e.g., construction, loud music, parties, etc.)
CONTRACTORS
Contractors working on-site do not have the authority to respond directly to questions or requests from owners/residents. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact Rancho.
GARBAGE
Organic and Recycling pickup day is Tuesdays - Green Bin and Blue Bin
(Please note that the Organic Bin is picked up on alternate Tuesdays in the late fall, winter, and early spring)
Garbage pickup day is alternate Wednesdays - Black Bin
City of Calgary By-laws apply to our development.
Bins are to be placed out on front of driveways or behind garages for those with detached garages, no earlier than 7 pm on the night before pickup.
PARKING
Signs have been installed in the neighborhood to aid in the enforcement of the Corporation’s Parking Policy. There is no overnight parking on the neighborhood roadways between the hours of 2am and 6am seven days a week. Please do not block front sidewalks or driveways at any time of day. The Calgary Parking Authority patrols the neighborhood and will issue tickets to any parking offenders. A designated visitor parking area is available at the south end of Rocky Ridge Pointe.
BY-LAWS
All owners/residents are expected to be aware of the condominium corporation’s by-laws and policies. You should have received a copy of these at the time you purchased your home. Please notify Rancho if you did not receive a copy and they can arrange for you to receive a copy. Also, if you are already or plan in future to rent out your home, it is your responsibility to ensure your tenants are aware and comply with these by-laws and policies.
