LEGO Mindstorms NXT 2.0/ EV3 3.0 Robotics System

LEGO Mindstorms Robotics System is one of the flagship systems used by NYRC for learning and competitions since 2006.

Introduction

A highly versatile concept, LEGO Mindstorms is one of the most used robotics systems in Singapore schools. It shares the advantage of easy-building and adaptability characteristics of LEGO Technic building blocks. Offering time efficiency and ease of learning to users.

Programming Languages

The programming language for NXT 2.0 and EV-3 3.0 systems adopted by NYRC are NXT-G 2.0 Education and EV3-Labview Education respectively.

Both programming software offer graphical approach for programmers to easily define calculations and movements to be executed by the robot, offering easy troubleshooting and quick adaptability to changes.
