Our bylaws set out the structure of the Vernon Woods Owners' Association (aka VWOA), the scope of its responsibility and authority, responsibilities of property owners, and membership and voting rights. To view our by-laws, simply click this Link.
The preamble to the bylaws summarizes the purpose of our association:
The purposes of the VWOA shall be to foster cooperation and community pride among the owners of the lots in the subdivision, beautify the subdivision, preserve the natural character of the subdivision, enhance the value of properties within the subdivision and promote the health and safety of all persons living in the subdivision. The VWOA’s purpose includes but is not limited to the maintenance of roadways, drainage, and Lot 1.
Since these bylaws apply to all residents of Vernon Woods, it's important that all of us be familiar with them.
We hold an annual meeting each May, and Board meetings periodically throughout the year. See the Calendar for updated information about times and dates. We encourage residents to attend the meetings, and to become active in the association. If you have any questions or suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact one of the directors or officers of the association.
