Directors and Officers

At the May 14, 2025 Annual Meeting, the following people were re-elected directors of the Vernon Woods Owners Association:  Tom Burns, Rick Jamerson, Esmina Perdiew and Nick Leckow.  In addition, Roger Simonson was elected by the VWOA as a director.

Immediately after the May 14, 2025 Annual Meeting, the directors elected the following officers:  Tom Burns, President, Rick Jamerson, Vice President and Treasurer,  Esmina Perdiew, Vice President and Secretary, Nick Leckow, Vice President, and Roger Simonson, Vice President.

At the May 16, 2024 Annual Meeting, the following people were re-elected directors of the Vernon Woods Owners Association:  Tom Burns,  Rick Jamerson, Nick Leckow and Esmina Perdiew.   Pam Anderson, Roman Marchenko and Paul Slankamenac retired from the Board of Directors.  We appreciate very much their service to the community.

Immediately after the May 16, 2024 Annual Meeting, the directors elected the following officers:  Rick Jamerson, President; Tom Burns, Vice President and Treasurer; Nick Leckow, Vice President; and  Esmina Perdiew, Vice President and Secretary.

At the September 2023 meeting, Tom Burns replaced Esmina Perdiew as Treasurer.  Esmina remains a Director.  We thank Esmina for her excellent service, and we thank Tom for assuming  the duties of Treasurer.

At the May 17, 2023 Annual Meeting, the following people were elected directors of the Vernon Woods Owners Association:  Pam Anderson, Tom Burns, Nick Leckow, Roman Marchenko, Esmina Perdiew and Paul Slankamenac.  Rick Jamerson retired from as a director.  

Immediately after the May 17, 2023 Annual Meeting, the directors elected the following officers:  Rick Jamerson, President; Pam Anderson, Vice President and Secretary; and Esmina Perdiew, Vice President and Treasurer.  Messrs Burns, Leckow, Marchenko and Slankamenac were elected Vice Presidents.

We remember Larry Kanar, a friend and colleague who was active in the community and served on the VWOA Board for many years, including as president.  Larry passed away on November 13, 2022.  

As of the September 2022 Board meeting, Steve Svoboda resigned from the Board and as an officer.  Anthony Wedyck also resigned from the Board and as an officer.  We thank them for serving and wish the best.

As of the May 2022 annual meeting, David Shimberg and Kate Levinson resigned from the Board.  We thank both for their service and wish them the best.  As of the same meeting, Pam Anderson and Steve Svoboda were elected to the Board.  At the Board meeting immediately following the annual meeting, Rick Jamerson was re-elected President, Esmina Perdiew was re-elected Treasurer, Anthony Wedyck was re-elected Secretary, and Pam Anderson and Steve Svoboda were elected Vice Presidents.  

As of the May 2021 annual meeting, Jessica Jurmann and Gerry Saperstein resigned from the Board.  We thank both for their service and wish them the best.  As of the same meeting, Esmina Perdiew and Anthony Wedyck were elected to the Board.  At the Board meeting immediately following the annual meeting, Rick Jamerson was re-elected President, Kate Levinson and David Shimberg were re-elected as Vice Presidents, Esmina Perdiew was elected Treasurer, and Anthony Wedyck was elected Secretary of the Association.  

As of the April 30, 2020 Board meeting, John Buscher resigned as Treasurer and Director.  At the May 28, 2020 annual meeting, Jessica Jurmann was elected to the Board, and to the position of Treasurer.

As of the May 2019 annual meeting, Mike Clayton and Larry Kanar retired from the VWOA Board after many years of great service, and Kate Levinson and Gerry Saperstein were elected to the Board.

As of the October 2018 Board meeting, Irene Gagerman retired from the board and as an officer of the Association after many years of wonderful service.  John Buscher, who lives on Orange Brace, was elected as a director and as treasurer of the Association to replace Irene.

As of the 2017 annual meeting of the Association, Herb Regan retired from the board after several years of excellent service.  Larry Kanar, who has worked closely with the Association for many years, including several as president, was elected to the board.

As of the 2016 annual meeting of the Association, Carol Lieberman and Tim Tomkovich retired from the board and as officers.  Carol served as a board member and as an officer since 2005, and as secretary from 2005 to 2013.  Very sadly, she passed away on July 3, 2016.  Tim served as a board member and as secretary since 2013.  The officers and directors are grateful for the dedicated service of both Carol and Tim to Vernon Woods.
