Descriptions

    • Designation
      • It singles out some particular kind of Phenomenon that is of interest; tells you informally - in natural language - how to recognize it; and gives you a name by which it will be noted.
    • Definition
      • It gives you formal definition of a term that may used by other descriptions.
    • Refutable Description
      • It describe some Domain saying something about it that could - in principle - refuted or disproved.
      • Refutability depends on the fact that the description ultimately refers to designated Phenomena of a Domain being described.
    • Rough Sketch
      • It is tentative description of something that is in process of being explored or invented.
      • It uses undefined terms to record vague half-formed idea.
    • Task 1 – Stakeholders
      • Identify and engage with the individual ‘capability users’ and ‘capability stakeholders’.
    • Task 2 – Capture
      • Capture requirements and constraints.
    • Task 3 – Analyse
      • Analyse the exercising process(es) and constraints in order to define the set of activities that the capability must enable.
    • Task 4 – Engineer
      • Engineer the aggregation of individual requirements into one cohesive database.
    • Task 5 – Review
      • Review the URD for adherence to guidance and clarity of purpose.
    • Task 6 – Endorse and Publish
      • Record and communicate the user requirements.
