Evacuation of Assyrian refugees.
RA143 - Reverse annotation:
"Sinel (sic) landing ground, 90 miles north west of Mosul and on the border of Kurdistan. The worst of the Assyrian massacres took place here last year. The aeroplanes have brought people up from Baghdad and Basrah and this is as far as they go. After that they all go by car to Ser Armadia, a 100 miles further north. This I took on the way back and an hour later found ourselves stranded in the desert."
