RASA is in regular contact with Head of Staff Travel & Interline and Aer Lingus regarding Staff Travel Services for Retirees.
In January 2026 a new digital MYID Staff Travel process for Aer Lingus retirees has been launched on a phased basis.

APRIL 2026: STAFF TRAVEL TRIP TO SHANNON AND CORK AIRPORTS
The Staff Travel team is coming to Shannon Airport and Cork Airport to register Retired EI staff (Yellow staff book holders) for the new MYSTAFFTRAVEL system.
Please ensure that you arrive early as we have only a limited time and limited resources and it takes approx. 10-15mins to register each person.
The Staff Travel team have a tight schedule each day and must leave on time, so please ensure that you fill in the online registration form before coming to the airport.
NOTE: Retirees must have an ANDROID Phone or I-PHONE or IPAD or lap-top with access to WIFI/3G/4G/5G so that they can register online on the day.
copies of the “HOW TO LOG IN GUIDE “using 2 devices (phone and IPAD/lap-top)” after registration and handed back your Yellow EI Staff Travel book.
Shannon Airport:
Dates: Monday 27 APRIL (1-4pm) and Tuesday 28 APRIL (9-12pm) * Please ensure you arrive early *
Location: The Staff Travel team will be available in the office beside the Aer Lingus Check-in desks.
WIFI: Free Shannon airport WIFI will be available.
Parking: Paid parking is available in SNN airport.
Cork Airport:
Dates: Thursday 21 May (2-5pm) and Friday the 22 May (9-12pm). *Please ensure you arrive early *
Location: The Friendship Room in Cork airport.

December 2025 - RASA testers have been involved in testing a New MYSTAFF TRAVEL system for Retirees. This allows for remote access. 'Onboarding' issues are being resolved by Staff Travel personnel and IT. It is hoped that this will be launched on a phased basis.

April 2025 - RASA HAS BEEN ADVISED THAT POSITIVE STAFF TRAVEL HAS BEEN PARTIALLY REINSTATED .

RASA has been advised that Staff Positive Travel [excludes LHR] on EI Returns from 29 April 2025 for EI/DAA Staff and Retirees.
The Regular Staff Positives are subject to commercial availability and staff may be offloaded anytime if flights are full, over booked, cancelled, weight restrictions etc.
The Staff member must call into their local Staff Travel office to request seats [excl LHR} with their Staff Travel book and a valid Staff ID and a credit card for payment.

WHERE IS THE STAFF TRAVEL OFFICE:
It is the Annex on the left hand side of the old PCB building renamed Shamrock House, beside Catering.
Access will be permitted through the main door on the right from 09.30-16.00hrs Monday to Fridays. Door is on a time lock outside these hours.
CAR PARKING :
There is no staff car-parking facility for the Annex Building. There are parking facilities at local Hotels and DAA car parks.
