1. NYSATA portfolio adjudication information and adjudicator training, Date 1. This is the NYSSMA of Art. If you have not yet gotten involved or checked it out, now is a great time. Tuesday, February 25, 2020- @ ES Boces, 4 to 6pm, no cost

2. “El Anatsui Acrylic Tapestry” sponsored by Blick. This workshop explores the use of leftover and discarded materials to create artwork based off the work of Ghanaian artist El Anatsui.

3. “Arpilleras” sponsored by Blick. This workshop is based off a Chilean custom of communal sewing. Participants will have an opportunity to create a mini tapestry with scraps of felt, craft fluff, and burlap while learning paper clip “felting”.

4. NYSATA portfolio adjudicator training, Date 2. If you were unable to attend the Feb 25^th info and training, here is another chance to be trained as a judge for the portfolio happening this coming weekend (April 25). For more information on the NYSATA Portfolio Project, visit here and here.
