Join NYSATA Region 10 in helping students grow in their creative learning and document their growth in their portfolios!
Train to become a judge!
The Portfolio Project is an initiative of NYSATA that was developed in cooperation with the New York State Education Department. It is an authentic assessment tool that is based on The New York State Learning Standards and provides students with an opportunity to present portfolios of their work at regional adjudication sites. The student portfolios provide evidence of understanding and student learning in the visual arts. Feedback is available for the student, parent, school, and community. The Portfolio Project can provide an authentic source for data on student success in the visual arts.
The Spring 2026 Portfolio Project for Region 10 will be held in three different locations on two different Fridays and one Saturday, with a maximum of 100 students portfolio reviews at the Saturday location and 60 students portfolio reviews on each Friday locations.

The anticipated Training schedule is as follows:
TBA – Bring Portfolio to your school Zoom workshop.
How to set it up organize and process what needs to happen to support your students and promote your program.
TBA– Q&A - Questions and answers after completing the Portfolio Judge Training via google classroom zoom workshop.
After completing the online Adjudication google classroom to help process the information and a review for those already certified.
