Policies and Rates

Dear Parents and Piano Students,

Welcome back this fall to piano lessons at Red Rocks Piano Studio! This piano lesson school year is nine months -- September through May. Your child will receive 3 private piano lessons each month and one virtual recital.

Rates are available on the piano payment section for 30 min., 45 min. and 60 minute lessons weekly. There is a one time annual administration fee due per student each September. Payment through PayPal subscription is required.

Recitals/Competitions:

Many opportunities beyond private lesson times will are offered. Festivals and competitions with an emphasis on a variety musical aspects are available. These events are encouraged but not mandatory.

Policies:

1. Monthly tuition is to be paid through an online Paypal subscription available on the Red Rocks Piano website. You do not need a Paypal account to do this. Just use your credit card.

2. A yearly registration and administration fee is required for each student.

3. The student/family is responsible for purchasing all music.

4. Lessons may not be cancelled due to “lack of practice”. Lesson time will then be used for theory, sight reading, scales, goal setting, practice strategies, composition, etc.

5. When sickness keeps a student from attending his/her lesson time, all efforts will be made to arrange for a make-up time.

6. If a child plans to quit piano lessons, a one month notice is required.

7. Please ensure that you park safely when dropping off and picking up your child. Please avoid blocking the driveway.

COVID and Illness Policies:

1. Masks are required when piano lessons are indoors.

2. Each student will be required to use hand sanitizer at the beginning of lessons if in person.

3. If your child has any symptom of illness, they may not attend in person but you may notify me and I am happy to teach online.

4. Only the students is allowed into the home for the lesson.

5. There will be no restroom privileges.

6. Students may only bring what is necessary for piano lessons, ie piano books.

7. This studio will continue to follow the pandemic guidelines set forth by the Music Teachers National Association.
