Purple November meets Sisters Day Out, Geelong, 7th October.

The Sisters Day Out program is a one day workshop that engages with Koori women, and in particular young Koori women, for the purpose of preventing family violence by facilitating community networks to reduce social isolation, raising awareness of family violence and its underlying cause and impacts, and by providing information and tools to promote community safety. Part of the 2014 Sisters Day Out in Geelong included a Purple November pom pom workshop. The pom poms will be displayed at the Wathaurong Co-operative, North Geelong.
