Reclaim the Night Geelong Mosaic Art project

‘Women’s Journey from violence, inequality, sexism and discrimination

to gender equality and respectful relationships’

as part of Barwon Month of Action: Stop Men’s Violence Against Women.

Mosaic art will be created with the support of Bunnings at women’s sessions.

Thursday 5th Nov 6-8pm Waurn Ponds Bunnings

Thursday 12th Nov 1-3pm North Geelong Bunnings

Chris Storm and Margaret Peaurt will be providing creative craft at these sessions also.

We will be creating two pieces of ‘Women’s Journey’ art work

1)    One will be an art installation that will accompany the RTN banner bugs on family violence and sexual assault and other educational materials and will travel around the neighbourhood centres, COGG customer centres and libraries.

2)    The other is art work on pavers that will be placed permanently in the area in front of the Belmont Library on High St.
