Evidence of your achievement this semester could further link to:
- Student observations
- Client/ team and skill mix forms
- 2 critical reflective accounts for marking, see guidance below.
Critical Reflection Guidance - Chose 2 reflections in total for marking, a maximum of 2000 words in total (minus references). Link both of your reflections to a different domain of the QNI Voluntary Standards i.e. clinical care, leadership and management, facilitation of learning or evidence research and development. It is important to agree the topics that you put forward for your reflections with your CPA. You could choose an experience from your clinical practice, a leadership issue, your learning from a public health day etc.
We would like to see evidence that you have used at least one reflective framework in semester 1, however avoid structuring your work around the headings of the framework chosen, this may become too descriptive. You might find it helpful to provide evidence within your appendix of the reflective tool you have used with your notes under each of the headings as to how you have reflected on the situation. For your written account you would develop your critical analysis of one of the key issues that arose from this situation. Ensure that you consider your learning from this situation and the implications both for your practice and for the district nursing service. We expect you to engage with a variety of evidence including research papers and policy to develop your work. You are advised to look at the marking criteria for the eportfolio which is available on the Foundation of SCPHN 1 and 3 moodle sites.
This section will be reviewed by your academic adviser on 27th January 2020 (please ensure this is-up-to date by 10am)Your work will be reviewed by your academic adviser, and feedback will be give to inform the remainder of your portfolio. You will receive the feedback by 17th February 2020.
