Your OSCE in semester two will be based on a breastfeeding assessment.
Ensuring you feel confident in supporting women in breastfeeding is an essential part of your public health role, you will have university based teaching, practice based experiences and support, and this check list can support you and your CPT in reaching a sound level of skills and competency before your OSCE, and establish a baseline of knowledge to make a plan for your learning this next year from the start of the programme.
Practice Breastfeeding Competencies (see last section CPA and Student sign off - aim for semester 2 before the OSCE, this may be finally completed by the end of the programme)
