As of my knowledge this was the first Robotics competition at VIT University. This was organized by ISOI student chapter of VIT. The goal of the competition was to design a manually controlled Robot, that should have 3 wheels and should be able to hold a ball and carry it to the destination on the give arena.
Technical Specification:
- Three DC motors, (two 12V motors for motion and one 3V motor to hold the ball).
- Two 9V batteries connected in parallel.
- Two RF remote controls taken from a toy car (one to control the Robot motion and one to control the cup motion to hold the ball).
- H-Bridge circuit built around BC 548 transistors for Motor control.
- Chassis and wheels made of plastic sheet.
Achievements:
- Won Best Design award.
