"Fleeting Apparitions" by Katrenia Busch

Day stolen by night

As the sun expires each day

Replaced by glimmering moonlight

As stars now light the way

Clouds that cry tears

Stolen by the sun's heat

As rain drops disappear

Victim to the sun's defeat

Leaves that clothe trees

As they fluctuate and sway

Dancing in the wind gracefully

Exchanged for winter, tossed away

Replaced by snow, time un-delayed

Snowflakes robbed of life

As warm climate leisurely arrives

To calmly fall from above

The star studded, frosty sky

Tumbling downward, an redundant ease to occupy

Dwindling plummeting to perish an established demise

Wrathful and howling thunder heard

Rumbling echoes violently

Lightning striking captured

Without limits or boundaries

Forming an electrifying and radiating light

Lightning glows as it releases a jolting strike

lightning volt's that fill the gloomy night skies

Replaced and stolen by the thunders howling cries
