Amber Bevier
Amber Bevier is a junior at Quincy University who is majoring in English. When not editing or writing giant papers, she enjoys reading books, playing video games, and spending time with her family. One day, she hopes to be a professional writer, a librarian, or a have a similar bookish career.
Lexie Broemmer
Lexie Broemmer is a sophomore at Quincy University. She is an English and Communication double major with a concentration in Journalism. She enjoys reading, writing, and listening to music. She hopes to one day work as a music journalist, but for now she is a blogger and freelance writer.
Miranda Guyer
Miranda Guyer is a sophomore at Quincy University, majoring in English and minoring in Graphic Design. She wishes to become an author and is already working on her first novel. She enjoys writing, reading, listening/playing music, playing video games, drawing, and being creative in any possible way.
Teresa Gorrell
Teresa Gorrell is a sophomore at Quincy University, majoring in Theology and minoring in Spanish. She works as a peer tutor in the university's writing center, and she is the news editor for the student newspaper. She loves admiring nature and exploring old buildings. She enjoys reading, writing, singing, baking, running, and meeting new people.
Ian Howell
Ian Howell is a junior at Quincy University and is majoring in Journalism and minoring in English. He is 21 years young and likes cats, long walks on the beach, and withholding affection. He also enjoys reading, playing video games, and drawing poorly done comics. He is an editor on the university newspaper and Fresh Prince of the QU English Club. If this whole journalist/writer thing does not work out, Ian plans on becoming an astronaut or private detective.
Beth Tressler
Beth Tressler is an Assistant Professor of English at Quincy University and the director of the English Program. She is currently working on a book manuscript entitled Ecstasy and Solitude: Reading and Self-Loss in Nineteenth-Century Literature and Psychology. She earned her doctorate from Boston College in 2013. Her work has appeared in Studies in the Novel and Victorian Literature and Culture.
Sarah Wiewel
Sarah Wiewel is a senior at Quincy University double-majoring in Biological Sciences and English. She has minors in Chemistry and Forensic Science. She enjoys reading, badminton, and Netflix. She will be graduating in Spring 2015. Sarah will then be attending graduate school at St. Louis University.
