Finnish Lakeside Vintage Inn

Pyhälahti Inn is an ex elementary school and an old base camp for hicking in Pyhälahti Natura 2000 nature reservation area.

The log building was constructed in 1946 at west coast of Pyhälahti bay. The cottage is a cultural heritage site.

In the cottage there are 6 bedrooms and sleeping places even for 30 nature lovers.

A great hall on the lake of Keite (east side of the cottage)

Beach grove and a spacious log sauna (east side).

On the beach You can find a large ceramic grill and a picknic place (east side).

Old Pyhälahti elementary school

You have to travell really weird places to avoid masses of tourists writes an editor of Finnish Metro. One of these places is the ex elementary school Pyhälahti Inn.

There is also a separate stall cottage where you can keep Your pets.

Recycling

Pyhälahti Inn is located in the lakeshore conservation area. Waste management requires "Take back with you what you bring along with you". This will oblige the visitor not to leave any trash in the site. If you have paid for the final cleaning this will require sorting of waste at the cottage's EKO point.

In Pyhälahti the best mobile service at the moment are first Telia and second DNA mobile operators. Simcards You can get at nearest R-kiosk in Konnevesi willage (distance 24 km) on the way to Pyhälahti.

There is a wifi-connection available 24 h at Navettakino (distance 500m).

Fishing permits

There is plenty of fish in Lake Keitele. You can get Finnish fishing permits at R-kiosk and You can ask local Pyhälahti fishing permits near of buy fresh fish at Kimmo LakeKeitele fiherman p. 040 589 0141.

Other services

In Konnevesi village 24-kilometers south there are other services as communal library, buss station, petrol station, shops, market, bank, cash dispenser, health center and pharmacy.
