Through this class I learned how to handle different scenarios that might arise in my class, from diversity issues to class management. It gave me insight into many types of teaching philosophies, how to best teach divese students, and gave me expectations of what the teaching profession is actually like. After taking this course I feel prepared to not only tolerate, but accept, all people and learning styles and create a safe and welcoming classroom for every student.
