Terms & Conditions:

• Tour specific terms & conditions besides the General Terms & conditions mentioned on the web site are as follows.

Inclusions:

• Accommodation on twin Sharing Basis.

• Optional Meal Plan (as per mentioned above). Tea/coffee with breakfast, lunch, dinner will be provided as per the convenience ( if applicable).

• Rates are valid for Indian Nationals only.

Exclusions:

• Bus/ Railway / Air Tickets, Coolie charges, Mineral water, Boating ride, Entry fee, Refreshment/snacks,  Room Heater Charges, Guide fees, Phone/ Fax charges, Tip, Laundry charges, All chargeable hotel services, soft & hard drinks, rafting, rock climbing, paragliding, joy ride (Toy Train), porterage, Accidental & Luggage Insurance. 

• Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary. Any cost arising due to natural calamities like landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes) etc. to be borne by the client, which shall be payable on the spot.

• Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.

• Nathula Pass, Zero point Permit, Entrance Fees & Guide charges.

Child Policy:

• 15% of the tour package amount for adult is to be charged for Chil Below 3 years. 50 % will be charged for 3 – 11 years and fully charged for 11 year onwards.  

• No extra bed will be provided for Child below 11 yrs. 

• Cost for extra bed / rollaway mattress will have to be paid to hotel directly by the tourist.

Vehicle Rules:

• Non a/c vehicle will be provided for transfers & sightseeing as per itinerary only (point to point basis). Vehicle entry and luggage carrying capacity rules may vary from place to place. In case of restricted entry conditions, local taxi may have to be hired at extra cost. Vehicle may get changed as per region.

• For 1-3 passengers, Non a/c Indica/Wagon R/Alto, for 4-7 passengers, Non a/c Sumo/ Max and in case of luxurious vehicle for 6 passengers, Innova/Scorpio/Xylo will be provided.

• Arrival to and departure from Gangtok will be only up to taxi stand. For Gangtok city tour, only Maruti Van/Indica/Wagon R (4 passenger capacity) is allowed.

• Tourists should prefer to travel during adequate day light. Vehicle will be availed for transfer from Bagdogra/NJP railway station during 06:00 hrs. To 16:00 hrs. In case of Late arrival,  they may have to stay at Siliguri at their cost. Their pick up will be arranged at 6.00 am. next day with revised curtailed itinerary.

• At least 2 - 4 hour buffer time is suggested to catch train or flight respectively and keeping road conditions of hilly region in mind, tourists are advised to start their departure journey accordingly.

• All transfers from Gangtok / Pelling / Darjeeling to onward destinations will be provided either in morning from 07:00 a.m. to 08:00 a.m. or in the afternoon from 01:00 p.m. to 02:00 p.m.

• 15 kg. per person is the maximum allowable luggage capacity. The cost for carrying extra luggage ( may have to hire extra vehicle) will have to be borne by the tourist.

Lachen -Lachung – Nathula Journey Rules:

• Children below 10 years are not allowed to visit Gurudongmar Lake.

• Most of the hotels offers basic amenities and simple vegetarian food prepared by locals. Due to frequent power cut, Room heating system, Geyser, Lighting may get non-operational & in such situations tourists will have to do with Hot water by bucket & candles. Packages are available with all meals at hotel only. Tourists will have to pay for on the way meals.

• Permits are issued by Government subject to weather & road condition and availability, hence Tourists are advised to process for permit in advance. Documents required from each members are: 2 copies of passport size photographs, original photo ID proof with photo copy (identity card – Voter ID card / Pass-port / Driving License / school ID card( for children)). PAN Card / Aadhar Card are not acceptable.

• Nathula pass and zero point visit costs extra charge per vehicle which have to be borne by tourists. Tourists must enter & come back through army check posts before Nathula / Gurudongmar within stipulated time period ( 11.00 am to 12.30 pm). Tourists are advised to start their journey early to reach the check post before time. Late arrival cannot guarantee the visit in spite of having confirmed permit and in such case, no claim for refund will be entertained.

• In case of less than 6 people from one travel agent the Sikkim Tourism department merges tourist groups for 4 km up and down journey prior to Nathula pass.
