General Information for Our Musicians

All perspective Poway Symphonette members must register quarterly for participation in the ensemble. Doing so in advance will allow us to avoid taking up valuable rehearsal time. Registration pays our expenses for our conductors, facilities and is also an insurance liability requirement.

The Poway Symphonette is also open to orchestral musicians high school age or older. High school students must contact Ms. Reiner for registration instructions for the Poway Adult School course.

CONCERT ATTIRE for All Poway Symphonette Orchestra Members: 

LADIES:  Long (tea length or longer) black dress; long skirt and black top or black dress pants and black top. Long sleeve or 3/4 length sleeves (no sleeveless and no leggings please). Black dress shoes and black colored hose or stockings. Minimum of jewelry and little to no perfume please. 

GENTLEMEN:  White short or long sleeve button down collared dress shirt and black dress pants with a black jacket and black bow tie. No cummerbund is required and a black jacket is required. Black dress shoes with black socks. Little to no cologne please.
