The Poway Symphonette, was created for musicians that desire the smaller chamber orchestra ensemble experience. We specialize in music of the Baroque and Classical periods of music history and feature string players of all ages along with wind players on a variety of our concerts.  Our performances take place at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in Poway located on Pomerado Rd, and also at local libraries and retirement communities in the north county area.

The Poway Symphonette has performed in China and in Europe at major concert halls under the direction of Artistic Director, Ulli Reiner.

In the summer of 2023-2025 the Poway Symphonette traveled to Austria and performed at the prestigious Cantus Festival in Salzburg, Austria having been invited for the fifth year in a row and has been given the honorary title of  "Orchestra in Residence" for the festival.
