“Point Positive” is a whitewater rafting term.
On the river, guides use signals to point out the direction they want to go.
They keep the focus on the most positive route, avoiding potential dangers.
I have worked in education for over twenty years. I see how the college selection process is changing and sending families down an ever more stressful path. I am learning as much as I can in order to help people find an easier route.
In this age of endless information, students are able to search and apply to many more colleges than ever.
The amount of data is overwhelming. There are so many choices and pressure to find “the right” school.
College is also a major financial investment. It is important to avoid costly mistakes.
This is where I come in.
The mission of Point Positive is to guide students and their families through the college selection process.
I reduce the stress of choosing and applying to college.
My intent is to keep you focused on where you want to go, and not get lost in the process.
