I am currently an associate professor in Applied Physic at the School of Physics, Institute of Science, Suranaree University of Technology (THAILAND). My research topics involve development of optical imaging systems, focusing on Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), for tissue diagnostics and materials metrology. The biomedical imaging applications include real time flow imaging and monitoring, high resolution 3D tomography and reconstruction, and elastography techniques. The research on material metrology involves high precision optical ranging, 3D imaging of layered materials, surface and thickness topography of materials, 3D refractive index mapping.

I received my M.S. and Ph.D. in Optics from CREOL, the College of Optics and Photonics, University of Central Florida (USA), where I joined the Optical Diagnostics and Applications Lab (ODALab) (2005 - 2011), leading by Prof. Jannick P. Rolland, my advisor. Since 2009, ODALab has been relocated to the Institute of Optics, University of Rochester (USA).

Previously, I received a B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University (Thailand).

I carried out my one-year postdoctoral research (2011) at the Institute of Optics, University of Rochester also supervised by Prof. Jannick P. Rolland. My research involved the development of OCT techniques for 3D metrology of layered polymeric GRIN materials, which is part of the Manufacturable Gradient Refractive Index (MGRIN) project under the support of the Defense Advance Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the United States Department of Defense.
