Physical Qualities. In their human form, panther can range between 5'6, to 6'5 feet. Skin tones tend towards a light mocha. Eye tones range from green to yellow, sometimes hazel. Panthers frequently bear stripes, rosettes, or other brindling patterns on their skin, which come into sharp relief in their hybrid forms.
In their hybrid forms, panthers look like... well... cat people. Fur, cat heads. They look like khajiit. For fur patterns, they run the gamut; normal housecat patterns, leopards, jaguars, cheetahs.... basically any 'small' cat.
Playing a Panther. Take all the stereotypes of the standard housecat, sprinkle in a little bit of hunting cat like cheetah or leopard, and the sexual aggression of modern-day human cougar, and you have a Panther. These are cats that have adopted and choose to take care of humans, expecting to be fed and praised, and deigning to give affection in return for their generosity.
Culture. In general, Panthers are thought to be playful, free-wheeling, spry, and hedonistic. They appear to be only concerned with having a good time. This bias is only slightly true; panthers definitely appreciate the finer things in life, but they're also culturally appreciative of hunting, sports, and good-natured competition. Panthers, despite their lackadaisical attitudes, take their protection of humanity extremely seriously.
Panthers live within Were-panther steadings in small clans of like-minded or related individuals and live in dormitory-like structures called halls, where they serve as guards and hunters. When not actively on the prowl for food or defense, they're likely to lay about or be on the prowl for other 'prey'.
Relations.
Humans. Were-panthers lack the dexterous quality of their Theru kin, but make up for it with a keen understanding of the natural world. They often form large farming communities called steadings, where they raise larger herd animals for subsistence.
Were-Panthers consider and treat their Theru kin with the strained affection of cat owners everywhere. In a reverse of most Theru relationships, to the Were-Panthers their Panther kin are the pets. While the Panthers do protect their humans from undead incursions, they're not really considered reliable.
