While many unique and monstrous creatures exist, only a few of these are suitable for the players. They exist as five distinct species spread across thirteen tribes: Daiharu, Theru, and Human. Neither demons nor gods form their own unique tribe, as the two species rarely interact with others of their own kind in a normal social structure.
Progenitors of great magics, the children of the fallen. Cast off by the gods, cursed to see their civilizations razed and demolished. Some, living little better as slaves. Others, determined to renew their heritage and revive their lost deities. Many humans are members of the tribes of other races. Other form their own clans and power structures all loosely bound together as the Wild tribe.
The noble and shining Radiant, and the dark and mysterious Umbral. Born of an arcane and violent past, protecting their human flocks in their need for blood. Both heroic and parasitic, these two races straddle the line between the natural and the monstrous.
Emerging from the ruins of the wars, the ten beast-kin tribes sought the comforts and support of their human brethren, swearing their protection and stewardship of those who chose to accept their guidance. Creatures that walk like humans, but bearing the faces and habits of beasts.
Bodiless elemental spirits torn from other realities during the last war, and forced into constructed bodies to serve as weapons or servants, demons roam the lands still today. They are incapable of returning to their original homes, and exist by crafting new avatars of flesh and bone for themselves. Some are truly monstrous, while others emulate the tribes to the best of heir ability. Regardless, they remain alien and truly unknowable.
