2010 + Christmas

Dear Friends & Family,

Boy am I behind. Day after Christmas to send this year.

Ok, slow year. Got the basement flood undamaged. Mostly just getting rid of moldy carpet and moving everything back and forth to do so. Did some remodeling in the mean time... (I was there, the walls were there, my tools were there, kind-a thing.) Going at painting bathroom, kitchen and stair well, next...

Had my 35th highschool class reunion. I met with many people and talked to a few I had never talked with before, though saw them across classroom after classroom. A great time all in all. (I won a REALLY nice afghan. Blue and white of course.)

Been Church hopping a bit. Spent two months of Sundays in one Church nursery, reviving my inner child with suitable playmates. (LOTS of really cool electronic sound makers, these days. :-) Still have never changed a dirty diaper though. With no kids of my own, I figured for sure I'd get a chance "in the wild" there... ;-)

Went to urgent care Christmas Eve, cuz I figured it was either that day or Christmas, so lesser of two evils. I didn't know they made pills that big. Dwarfs the decongestants I was taking and I thought those were pretty big, until... Yeah, I know, I should invent something to take care of people breathing cold air in the winter while exerting or etc, for myself (working outdoors in sub freezing weather) or others (playing, elderly, etc...) ... Yeah, ok you're right. I take that back. I should proto-type and patent the one I already have (make two, so I at least have one for myself) and manufacture for the rest of everyone else. :-) Next year.

My parents are both still hanging in there. Dad @ 94 and mom at 88. Dad drove him and mom to older brothers for Christmas, about 6 miles away, since I am still hiding inside from frosty/freezy weather and mostly a-bed, tuc equipped.

Weather here, we had snow on the lawns, enough to slide sleds on, Christmas afternoon. (first time in MANY YEARS.)

Speaking of patents, I am still pending under a provisional patent for my "Lightning Energy Converter."

Definitely "go big or stay at home," time. So I am considering a sojourn/pilgrimage to Florida, lightning capitol of the world, for lightning season in 2011.

That's about it.

Hope everyone has a great New Year. Health, Happiness, Wealth (well we can hope. ;-)

Sincerely with Namaste
